Officially Licensed USMC Marine Raider Support Group (MRSG) patch.
The Marines who keep MARSOC in the fight — comms, intel, K9, fires, logistics.
The Marine Raider Support Group (MRSG) is the combat support and combat service support component of Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) — the unit that trains, equips, structures, and provides the specially qualified Marines who sustain MARSOC's worldwide special operations missions. MRSG provides logistics, communications, intelligence, multi-purpose canine teams, Firepower Control Teams, and supporting arms expertise to Marine Special Operations Companies and Teams operating across every USSOCOM theater. The unit was originally formed in April 2009 as the Marine Special Operations Support Group during MARSOC's first major reorganization, and was re-designated as the Marine Raider Support Group in June 2015 alongside the rest of the MARSOC "Raider" rebranding. MRSG operates two subordinate battalions — 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California (West Coast) and 2nd Marine Raider Support Battalion at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina (East Coast) — each providing general support logistics, signals, intelligence, K9, and fires combat support to MARSOC operational elements deploying with the Marine Special Operations Command, the Marine Raider Regiment, and the geographic combatant commands. MARSOC itself was activated on February 24, 2006 at Camp Lejeune, and MRSG has been the indispensable enabler since the day Marine Raiders started kicking down doors. This patch is for every Raider Support Marine.
Perfect For: Marine Raider Support Group active-duty and veteran personnel, 1st and 2nd Marine Raider Support Battalion Marines, MARSOC communicators, intelligence Marines, multi-purpose canine handlers, Firepower Control Team members, and Marine Special Operations Forces enabler community collectors.
MRSG — Raiders supported. Mission completed. Worldwide.
