This officially licensed patch represents the command and control warriors of the Pacific.
Marine Air Control Group 18 serves under the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, coordinating the Marine Air Command and Control System for Marine aviation operations across the Indo-Pacific. The group's subordinate units include Marine Air Control Squadrons, Marine Air Support Squadrons, Low Altitude Air Defense Battalions, and communications units that provide air surveillance, early warning, airspace management, and direct air support coordination. MACG-18 is essential to maintaining the air superiority and command structure that enables Marine aviation to fight and win in the Pacific.
