4" patch with hook & loop.

Official VMM-262 Flying Tigers 2026 Tail Flash Chest Patch - Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (VMM-262) officially licensed 2026 tail flash design PVC chest patch.

Every Man a Tiger - forward-deployed, Osprey-ready, and carrying the Indo-Pacific mission on the chest since 1951.

VMM-262 traces its lineage to September 1951 and has operated continuously as one of the Marine Corps' most forward-deployed tiltrotor squadrons. Based at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, the Flying Tigers fall under Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, and III Marine Expeditionary Force. The squadron transitioned from the CH-46E Sea Knight to the MV-22B Osprey in 2013, becoming the last Pacific-based unit to retire the Sea Knight before embracing the tiltrotor era. The 2026 tail flash design captures the squadron's current aircraft markings, the same tiger imagery that has appeared on Osprey tails across Okinawa, Korea, and throughout the Indo-Pacific region. The tail flash format is a flight-line tradition, identifying a squadron's aircraft at a glance, and wearing that design as a chest patch connects the carrier directly to the crews, maintainers, and mission that keep the Flying Tigers ready around the clock. VMM-262's operational record includes disaster relief in the Philippines during Typhoon Haiyan, earthquake response in Nepal, and decades of assault support, MEU deployments, and regional exercises that define what forward presence actually looks like in Marine aviation. The PVC construction holds color and detail through field use, making it equally at home on a flight suit, a range bag, a patch panel, or a shadow box display.

Perfect For: VMM-262 Flying Tigers crew members and alumni, MV-22B Osprey maintainers and aircrew, MAG-36 and 1st MAW veterans, III MEF supporters, MCAS Futenma station veterans, 31st MEU patch collectors, Marine aviation historians, deployment keepsake displays, challenge coin and patch boards, reunion gifts, and family members who want a dated, flight-line-accurate tribute to the Marines keeping the Indo-Pacific mission moving in 2026.

Flying Tigers heritage, tail flash sharp, and dated to the year the mission continued.
