This officially licensed patch represents the engineers, fuelers, motor transport operators, and security Marines who build and sustain the aviation operating bases that Marine air power depends on.
Marine Wing Support Squadron 374 provides expeditionary airfield operations, engineer support, bulk fuel distribution, motor transport, communications, and ground defense for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The squadron's Marines specialize in rapidly establishing aviation operating bases from bare ground, providing the critical infrastructure that enables Marine tactical and assault support aircraft to project power from forward locations worldwide. MWSS-374 has deployed in support of major operations, establishing the expeditionary airfields and support infrastructure that have enabled decisive Marine air operations.
