The Dragons of MALS-14 provide the aviation logistics muscle that keeps one of the Marine Corps' most diverse air groups flying and fighting. From F-35B Lightning IIs and AV-8B Harriers to KC-130J Super Hercules tankers and MQ-9 Reapers, MALS-14 maintains it all. This officially licensed patch represents that versatile expertise.
MALS-14 serves as the aviation logistics squadron for MAG-14 at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, under the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. The Dragons provide intermediate-level aircraft maintenance, avionics support, aviation supply, and ordnance services to all squadrons assigned to MAG-14. The squadron's Marines are responsible for maintaining readiness across one of the most diverse aircraft fleets in Marine aviation, requiring expertise in everything from fifth-generation stealth fighter maintenance to heavy cargo aircraft logistics and unmanned aerial vehicle support.
