H&MS-24 has kept MAG-24's aircraft ready for combat from the volcanic islands of Hawaii to wherever the Pacific fight has taken them. This officially licensed patch represents the maintenance Marines who have ensured MAG-24's rotary wing and tiltrotor aircraft are always ready to deploy.
Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 24 served as the logistical and maintenance backbone of Marine Aircraft Group 24 at MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. The squadron's Marines maintained readiness for one of the Marine Corps' most expeditionary aviation groups, supporting deployments across the vast Pacific theater. From intermediate maintenance on complex aircraft systems to ammunition logistics and aviation supply, H&MS-24 Marines ensured that MAG-24 could respond to any contingency from its Pacific base. The unit's legacy continues through MALS-24, the Warriors, maintaining the same commitment to aviation excellence.
