Official US Army Eagle Dust Off Sticker - 101st Airborne Division Eagle Dustoff MEDEVAC Aeromedical Evacuation Heritage Vinyl Sticker.

Screaming Eagle medevac identity, built on the call sign that meant someone was coming no matter what the conditions on the ground.

Eagle Dustoff is the name carried by the aeromedical evacuation crews of the 101st Airborne Division, one of the most storied Dustoff units in United States Army history. The Dustoff call sign itself traces to 1963, when the commander of the 57th Medical Detachment (Helicopter Ambulance) first used it for his MEDEVAC helicopter, a name born partly from the clouds of dust that billowed when the aircraft lifted off from dry fields during the Vietnam War. Eagle Dustoff crews flew UH-1 Huey helicopters marked with the international Red Cross insignia, unarmed and on-call around the clock, into hot landing zones under direct enemy fire to pull wounded soldiers out when no other option existed. The unit deployed to the Saudi Arabian theater during Desert Shield and Desert Storm in August 1990 as the first U.S. Army MEDEVAC unit in country, immediately beginning missions upon arrival. That unbroken line of service, from Vietnam through the Gulf War and beyond, gives the Eagle Dustoff name a weight that goes well beyond a unit nickname. This vinyl sticker carries that identity in a durable, weather-resistant format suited to gear, vehicles, lockers, water bottles, and display boards.

Perfect For: 101st Airborne Division veterans, Army Dustoff crew members, UH-1 Huey pilots and flight medics, Vietnam War and Desert Storm MEDEVAC alumni, Army aviation medicine supporters, military medical history collectors, shadow box builds, reunion displays, and anyone who wants to honor the crews who flew into the worst situations to bring soldiers home. It also works as a meaningful gift for families of Eagle Dustoff veterans and supporters of Army aeromedical evacuation heritage across every era of service.

Eagle Dustoff — the call sign, the mission, and the memory of every crew that answered it.
