Officially Licensed USMC 2nd MAW Marine Air Wing Sticker - 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (2nd MAW) officially licensed vinyl sticker representing the U.S. Marine Corps' premier East Coast aviation combat element, headquartered at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina.
East Coast air power, Pacific-forged lineage, and the full spectrum of Marine aviation identity in one durable, officially licensed sticker.
Commissioned on 10 July 1941, the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing carries one of the longest and most decorated records in Marine Corps aviation. Its squadrons flew in 83 South Pacific combat operations during World War II, with aircraft participating in campaigns at Guadalcanal, Midway, Saipan, Guam, and Okinawa. Since relocating to MCAS Cherry Point in April 1946, the wing has served as the aviation combat element of the II Marine Expeditionary Force, executing offensive air support, assault support, aerial reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and anti-air warfare across every major conflict of the modern era. During the 2003 invasion of Iraq alone, 2nd MAW units flew more than 7,800 combat sorties and moved over 10,000 troops in support of ground operations. Today the wing spans more than 40 squadrons and 15,000 Marines and sailors across Cherry Point, MCAS New River, and MCAS Beaufort, operating platforms from the F-35B Lightning II to the MV-22 Osprey and KC-130J Super Hercules. This officially licensed vinyl sticker captures that identity cleanly, making it a precise, meaningful piece for anyone connected to the wing's history, mission, or people.
Perfect For: 2nd MAW veterans, MCAS Cherry Point and MCAS New River alumni, II MEF aviation supporters, Marine Corps aviation collectors, active-duty squadron members and their families, deployment keepsakes, shadow boxes, vehicle and gear displays, patch and sticker boards, reunion gifts, and anyone building a unit-history collection around East Coast Marine aviation. It also suits supporters who want an officially licensed piece tied to a specific wing rather than a generic Marine Corps emblem, giving the display real unit context and collector credibility.
Eighty-plus years of East Coast air power, officially licensed and ready for the board, the bumper, or the shadow box.
