Pop-a-Smoke War On Terror Patch — Marine Helicopter Association Global War On Terror Embroidered Patch
Pop-A-Smoke War On Terror — honoring Marine rotary-wing veterans of the Global War on Terror.
This Pop-A-Smoke patch honors all Marine helicopter and tiltrotor aircrew who served during the Global War on Terror — from the opening strikes of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001 through sustained operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and deployments across CENTCOM, AFRICOM, and beyond. The GWOT era saw the Marine rotary-wing community transition from legacy aircraft to new platforms, with the MV-22 Osprey joining the CH-53E, UH-1Y Venom, and AH-1Z Viper in combat. Marine rotary-wing crews flew tens of thousands of combat hours across two decades of continuous operations.
Perfect For:
GWOT Marine helicopter and tiltrotor veterans, Pop-A-Smoke association members, OEF and OIF rotary-wing community, and Global War on Terror aviation patch collectors.
Pop-A-Smoke. War On Terror. Two decades.
