Officially Licensed USMC VMFA-122 Crusaders Squadron Patch — Marine Fighter Attack Squadron Embroidered Patch

The Crusaders — the name that carried VMFA-122 through decades of Marine fighter aviation before the Werewolves took over.

VMFA-122 was commissioned as VMF-122 on March 1, 1942, at MCAS Kearney Mesa, California, and has been one of the Marine Corps' frontline fighter attack squadrons for over eight decades. Under the Crusaders name, the squadron flew F4U Corsairs in World War II, participated in the transition to jets with the F-9F Panther and F-8 Crusader, and later operated the F-4 Phantom II. The Crusaders built a reputation for aggressive air-to-air and air-to-ground combat that carried through every airframe the squadron touched. Today, VMFA-122 flies as the "Werewolves" under MAG-13 at MCAS Yuma, but this patch preserves the Crusaders legacy for the Marines who served under the original name.

Perfect For:
VMFA-122 Crusaders veterans, Marine fighter attack aviators across all eras, legacy squadron patch collectors, and anyone connected to the Crusaders' history.

Crusaders. The name that started it all.

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.
