The Skid Kids PVC patch is the durable, all-weather version of the v2 design created by the Marine light attack and utility helicopter community. The UH-1Y Venom and AH-1Z Viper crews who make up the Skid Kids fly the Marine Corps' most versatile and responsive rotary-wing platforms — providing close air support, armed escort, armed reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, and assault support from ship decks, FOBs, and anywhere else the MAGTF commander needs coverage. PVC construction means this patch handles rain, mud, fuel, and field abuse without losing detail — making it the preferred format for Marines who actually wear their patches on the flightline instead of keeping them in a display case.

If you want to swap patches on/off gear, choose hook & loop (velcro). If you’re attaching permanently to uniforms or fabric, choose sew-on. If you want quick application on compatible fabric, choose iron-on / heat seal (when offered). Backing options are shown on the page and update based on the variant you select.
Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.
