Officially Licensed USMC Skid Kids v2 Embroidered Patch — Marine Light Attack Helicopter Community Embroidered Patch

Skid Kids — Version 2

Skids over wheels. Rotors over runways. If you fly Hueys or Cobras, you already know what this patch means.

The Skid Kids are the Marine Corps' light attack and utility helicopter community — the pilots, aircrew, and maintainers who fly the UH-1Y Venom and AH-1Z Viper. These are the Marines who operate from the smallest LZs, the tightest ship decks, and the most austere forward operating bases, delivering close air support, armed escort, armed reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, and command and control at the tip of the spear. The Skid Kids identity was born from the community itself — a grassroots brotherhood of rotary-wing Marines who chose skid-equipped helicopters over everything else the Corps offers. This v2 design updates the original Skid Kids patch with refined artwork while keeping the spirit that made the first version a flightline staple.

Perfect For: HMLA squadron Marines, UH-1Y Venom and AH-1Z Viper crews and maintainers, Marine helicopter pilots, rotary-wing ground crew, and anyone who bleeds Skid Kids.

Skid Kids v2 — still on skids, still in the fight.
