The Plopter Doctor patch recognizes the flight surgeons and medical officers embedded with tiltrotor squadrons who keep aircrew medically qualified and mission-ready. These physicians undergo specialized training in aviation medicine, understanding the unique physiological demands of flying and the operational tempo that defines Marine aviation. They're part doctor, part aviator, and entirely essential.
