The Sea Elk provide medium-lift tiltrotor assault transport to the Marine Air-Ground Task Force, deploying aboard amphibious ships and from expeditionary bases worldwide. The MV-22 Osprey combines the vertical takeoff and landing capability of a helicopter with the speed, range, and altitude of a turboprop airplane, giving Marine commanders unprecedented flexibility in how they move Marines across the battlefield.
