Officially Licensed USMC VMA/VMFA-214 Blacksheep Squadron Stickers — The Most Famous Squadron in Marine Corps History

Pappy Boyington's Blacksheep — the name that needs no introduction in military aviation.

VMFA-214 — the 'Blacksheep' — is the most recognized squadron in Marine Corps aviation history, made famous by Medal of Honor recipient Colonel Gregory 'Pappy' Boyington and his band of misfit fighter pilots who terrorized Japanese forces in the Solomon Islands during World War II. Originally activated on July 1, 1942, the Blacksheep racked up 97 confirmed aerial victories flying the F4U Corsair, and Boyington himself became the Marine Corps' top living ace with 28 kills before being shot down and captured. The squadron's legend was cemented in popular culture by the 1970s television series 'Baa Baa Black Sheep.' Since World War II, the Blacksheep have flown the F-8 Crusader, the AV-8B Harrier II, and now the F-35B Lightning II from MCAS Yuma, Arizona, under MAG-13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The transition from the Harrier to the F-35B brought fifth-generation stealth capability to a squadron with a legacy of aerial dominance. These stickers celebrate both the VMA-214 Harrier era and the current VMFA-214 F-35B era — representing every chapter of the Blacksheep story.

Perfect For: VMFA-214 Blacksheep Marines past and present, F-35B Lightning II and AV-8B Harrier community members, MAG-13 and MCAS Yuma personnel, Pappy Boyington and WWII aviation enthusiasts, and anyone who knows the Blacksheep legend.
