HMM-261, the Raging Bulls, was one of the Marine Corps' most distinguished medium helicopter squadrons, flying the CH-46E Sea Knight in support of Marine Air-Ground Task Force operations worldwide for decades. Now operating as VMM-261 on the MV-22B Osprey out of MCAS New River, North Carolina, the Raging Bulls carry a legacy of combat deployments, humanitarian missions, and MEU rotations that spans generations. The Bulls have been everywhere the Corps needed rotary-wing muscle — and they brought the attitude to match their name.
