This PVC patch represents Golf Company, 1st Battalion, 168th Aviation Regiment of the New Mexico Army National Guard, known as Lobo Dustoff. "Dustoff" is the call sign for Army aeromedical evacuation helicopters, and G Company's UH-60 Blackhawks provide medevac capability for the New Mexico Guard and beyond. The "Lobo" identity connects to New Mexico's wolf heritage, and the Dustoff mission is one of the most honored traditions in Army aviation — flying into hostile conditions to evacuate wounded soldiers.
