Officially Licensed USMC MCAS Miramar HQ & HQ Squadron Patch — Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Headquarters Embroidered Patch
Miramar — where Marine aviation takes flight.
Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar is one of the Marine Corps' most important aviation installations, located in San Diego, California. Home to Marine Aircraft Group 16 (MAG-16) and multiple MV-22B Osprey, CH-53E Super Stallion, and light attack helicopter squadrons under the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, MCAS Miramar is the West Coast hub of Marine aviation operations. The Headquarters and Headquarters (H&H) Squadron provides the base support, administration, and operational infrastructure that keeps the entire air station running.
MCAS Miramar has a legendary aviation heritage — before the Marines took over in 1997, it was NAS Miramar, home to the Navy's famous TOPGUN fighter weapons school. Today, the base continues that tradition of aviation excellence under the Marine Corps banner, hosting the annual Miramar Air Show — one of the largest military air shows in the world — and serving as the primary operating base for III MEF's West Coast aviation assets. The H&H Squadron is the organizational backbone that makes all of this possible, managing the base's infrastructure, services, and support functions.
Perfect For: MCAS Miramar personnel past and present, H&H Squadron members, 3rd MAW and MAG-16 alumni, Marine aviation base support personnel, San Diego military community members, and military patch collectors who value the installations that keep Marine aviation operational.
Miramar strong — MCAS Miramar keeps the wing flying.
