From ammunition and food to repair parts and equipment, 2nd Supply Bn manages the complex logistics pipeline that sustains Marine combat operations. The battalion's Marines are trained in both supply management and combat skills, capable of operating in forward environments where the supply chain meets the battlefield. Their work is essential but often invisible — when the supply system works perfectly, no one notices, but when it fails, everyone suffers.
