Officially Licensed US Navy VFC-13 Saint Adversary Squadron Patch - Fighter Squadron Composite 13 (VFC-13) Fighting Saints, United States Navy Reserve Adversary Squadron, Officially Licensed Embroidered Patch.
Fighting Saints on the prowl, flying Red Air over the Nevada desert so the fleet is ready before the first real threat ever appears.
VFC-13 traces its lineage to 1946 and the commissioning of VF-753, with today's squadron formally established on 1 September 1973 at NAS New Orleans as Fleet Composite Squadron Thirteen. Redesignated Fighter Squadron Composite 13 on 22 April 1988, the Fighting Saints relocated to NAS Fallon, Nevada in 1996 and took over the West Coast adversary mission from VFA-127. Flying the F-5E Tiger II for over two decades, the squadron transitioned to F-16C Block 32 Fighting Falcons in December 2022, giving fleet pilots a more capable and realistic dissimilar threat to train against. The Saints provide Red Air for Navy and Marine Corps active and reserve fleet squadrons, carrier air wings, Marine aircraft groups, USAF units, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and Canadian Forces, supporting pre-deployment training cycles and integrated air wing workups at Fallon. Their radio callsign is Bogey, and their record includes two consecutive CNO Safety Awards, the Golden Wrench Maintenance Award, and Battle E awards in both 1994 and 2011. This officially licensed embroidered patch captures the Saints identity with the detail and authenticity that adversary aviation collectors and Navy veterans expect from a unit with this kind of operational pedigree.
Perfect For: Navy adversary aviation veterans, VFC-13 Fighting Saints alumni, NAS Fallon crew members and maintainers, carrier air wing pilots who trained against the Saints, Navy Reserve aviation collectors, TOPGUN and NAWDC enthusiasts, shadow box displays, patch boards, flight bag collections, reunion gifts, and anyone building a serious Navy aviation unit-history collection around the adversary training community and the squadrons that keep fleet fighter pilots sharp before every deployment.
Fighting Saints heritage, officially licensed, and stitched for every pilot who ever heard Bogey on the radio and knew the training was real.
