Officially Licensed USS Connecticut SNN-22 Patch - US Navy Seawolf-Class Nuclear-Powered Fast Attack Submarine officially licensed embroidered patch, hull designation SNN-22.

Arsenal of the Nation — one of only three Seawolf-class boats ever built, and among the most capable fast attack submarines in the history of the United States Navy.

USS Connecticut is the second of the three Seawolf-class nuclear-powered fast attack submarines constructed by General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut. Her keel was laid in September 1992, she was launched on 1 September 1997, and she was commissioned on 11 December 1998. Conceived during the Cold War to outmatch advancing Soviet submarine forces, the Seawolf class was designed to be larger, faster, and far quieter than the Los Angeles-class boats it was meant to replace. Budget cuts following the Soviet collapse ended the program at just three hulls, making each boat a rare and closely watched asset in the fleet. Connecticut carries the motto Arsenal of the Nation, a phrase that honors both her namesake state's industrial heritage and the heavy weapons load she brings to any mission. She is armed with eight torpedo tubes capable of deploying Mk 48 torpedoes, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and Tomahawk cruise missiles, and she has operated across the Pacific, the Arctic, and multiple deployed theaters throughout her service life. Connecticut is also the fifth US Navy vessel to carry the name of her home state, a lineage that stretches back to 1776. That combination of Cold War engineering, rare class identity, and long operational record gives the SNN-22 emblem a story worth displaying.

Perfect For: US Navy submarine veterans, Seawolf-class enthusiasts, Naval Base Kitsap alumni, Electric Boat and Groton shipyard workers, fast attack submarine collectors, shadow box builders, challenge coin and patch panel displays, Navy family keepsakes, reunion gifts, and anyone who wants a piece tied to one of the most advanced and historically significant attack submarines ever commissioned by the United States Navy. The officially licensed design makes it a clean fit for serious unit-history collections alongside other submarine, Pacific Fleet, and Cold War-era Navy pieces.

Seawolf rarity, Cold War engineering, and Arsenal of the Nation pride — preserved on the patch, hull designation SNN-22.
