Officially Licensed US Navy Carrier Strike Group 10 (CSG-10) vinyl sticker.
Norfolk's flagship strike group — Destroyer Flotilla 2 lineage to USS George H.W. Bush.
Carrier Strike Group 10 (CSG-10) is one of the U.S. Navy's Atlantic Fleet carrier strike groups, headquartered at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, with USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) as flagship and Carrier Air Wing SEVEN (CVW-7) and Destroyer Squadron 26 typically embarked. The strike group's lineage runs back to Destroyer Flotilla 2, established during World War I at Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island; the unit was deactivated in 1922, reactivated in 1931, deactivated again in WWII, reactivated in 1946, renamed Cruiser Destroyer Group 2 in 1973, relocated to Charleston, South Carolina in 1974, and ultimately renamed Carrier Strike Group 10 in 2004 as part of the Navy's fleet reorganization. Between 2004 and 2014 alone, CSG-10 made four major deployments to the U.S. Fifth Fleet operating in the Persian Gulf and North Arabian Sea, with embarked carrier air wing aircraft flying over 10,800 air combat missions in support of coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, plus anti-piracy and maritime security operations across the Horn of Africa. The strike group has historically operated USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) and now flies the colors with USS George H.W. Bush — one of the Atlantic Fleet's deepest combat resumes. This vinyl sticker carries the CSG-10 colors. Outdoor-grade vinyl, sharp edge cut.
Perfect For: CSG-10 staff and embarked Sailors, USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) crew, CVW-7 carrier air wing aviators and aircrew, Destroyer Squadron 26 destroyermen, NAVSTA Norfolk personnel, and Atlantic Fleet GWOT strike group sticker collectors.
