Officially Licensed US Navy Carrier Strike Group 3 (CSG-3) vinyl sticker.

USS Abraham Lincoln, CVW-9, USS Mobile Bay, DESRON 21 — San Diego strike group.

Carrier Strike Group 3 (CSG-3) is one of the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet carrier strike groups, headquartered at Naval Station San Diego, California. The strike group is centered on USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) as flagship, with Carrier Air Wing 9 (CVW-9), Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG-53), and Destroyer Squadron 21 (DESRON 21) and its Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. USS Abraham Lincoln's keel was laid on November 3, 1984, the ship was commissioned on November 11, 1989, and after homeports at Alameda, Everett (Washington), Norfolk (where she completed a Refueling and Complex Overhaul at Newport News Shipyard, returning to service on May 12, 2017), and finally San Diego, she now operates as the centerpiece of CSG-3. CSG-3's lineage traces all the way back to Carrier Division 3, established in 1940, with combat action in WWII and Korea; on June 30, 1973 Carrier Division 3 was redesignated Carrier Group 3, and the modern Carrier Strike Group 3 was activated on October 1, 2004 in the fleet-wide reorganization that converted carrier battle groups into the modern strike group construct. Between 2005 and 2013 CSG-3 made five deployments to the U.S. Fifth Fleet supporting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. This vinyl sticker carries the CSG-3 colors. Outdoor-grade vinyl.

Perfect For: CSG-3 staff and embarked Sailors, USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) crew, CVW-9 carrier air wing aviators and aircrew, USS Mobile Bay CG-53 Sailors, DESRON 21 destroyermen, Naval Station San Diego personnel, Pacific Fleet strike group operators, and Carrier Division 3 heritage sticker collectors.
