Officially Licensed US Navy Carrier Strike Group 11 Patch - Carrier Strike Group 11 (CSG-11 or CARSTRKGRU 11) officially licensed embroidered patch, centered on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) and the full strike group identity.

Sea control, power projection, and Pacific Fleet presence — the CSG-11 patch carries the weight of a strike group that has operated across the Persian Gulf, the North Arabian Sea, the western Pacific, and the Atlantic in support of U.S. national security objectives.

Carrier Strike Group 11 traces its lineage to Cruiser-Destroyer Flotilla 9, established in 1961, and was redesignated a carrier strike group in 2004 as part of the Navy's broader restructuring of its carrier forces. The group's flagship, USS Nimitz (CVN-68), is one of the most storied nuclear-powered carriers in the fleet. Between 2006 and 2013 alone, CSG-11 completed four deployments to the U.S. Fifth Fleet area in the Persian Gulf and North Arabian Sea, plus a surge deployment with the U.S. Seventh Fleet in the western Pacific. During a single 252-day deployment, embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 aircraft flew more than 29,440 flight hours and executed 9,344 launches in support of combat operations in Afghanistan. The group has participated in major multilateral exercises including Valiant Shield and Malabar, and in 2026 deployed as part of Southern Seas 2026, strengthening maritime partnerships across South America. Homeported at Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton, Washington, CSG-11 represents a complete integrated force of roughly 7,500 sailors, aviators, and support personnel ready to operate across any ocean, in any condition.

Perfect For: U.S. Navy veterans, USS Nimitz crew members and alumni, Carrier Air Wing 11 and CVW-17 sailors, Destroyer Squadron 9 veterans, Pacific Fleet collectors, deployment keepsake displays, shadow boxes, cruise book collections, challenge coin and patch boards, reunion gifts, and anyone building a serious naval heritage collection around carrier strike group history, Pacific Fleet operations, or the legacy of the Nimitz-class carrier program.

CSG-11 heritage — stitched for the sailors, the ship, and the sea.

If you want quick application on compatible fabric, choose iron-on / heat seal (when offered). Backing options are shown on the page and update based on the variant you select.

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.

If the product is officially licensed, it will say “Officially Licensed” in the title and/or in the product details. If it doesn’t, it’s still a legitimate product—just not part of a licensed program.
