Official VMM-268 Red Dragons 4th of July PVC Patches — Dragons Celebrating America's Birthday
The Red Dragons breathe fire year-round, but on the 4th of July, they do it with fireworks.
VMM-268 "Red Dragons" is a United States Marine Corps tiltrotor squadron flying the MV-22B Osprey out of Marine Corps Base Hawaii at Kaneohe Bay, under MAG-24 and the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. The Red Dragons have a storied history that stretches from Desert Shield — where they pioneered the first-ever NVG shipboard carrier qualifications — through combat in Iraq, deployments with the 11th MEU, and the fight against ISIS in CENTCOM. Since transitioning from the CH-46E to the MV-22B Osprey in 2014, the Red Dragons have continued to be a premier assault support squadron in the Pacific. This 4th of July PVC patch combines patriotic flair with Red Dragon attitude — a holiday morale piece that celebrates both America and the squadron that defends her from the islands of Hawaii.
Perfect For: VMM-268 Red Dragons Marines and veterans, MV-22B Osprey community, MCB Hawaii and Kaneohe Bay squadrons, MAG-24 and 1st MAW personnel, 4th of July patch collectors, and anyone who celebrates America Red Dragon style.
VMM-268 Red Dragons — breathe fire, fly free, celebrate the 4th.
