Official USMC Network Activity Europe and Africa PVC patch.
Stuttgart forward — Marines fighting cyber across EUR/AFR.
Network Activity Europe/Africa (NA EUR/AF) is a U.S. Marine Corps cyberspace unit based in Stuttgart, Germany — the forward-deployed Marine cyber command and control element responsible for the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) across the U.S. European Command and U.S. Africa Command areas of operations. The unit was activated on October 1, 2020 as part of the broader Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG) under Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command (MARFORCYBER), and was the fifth network organization to stand up in the MCEN command-and-control modernization effort — following 1st Network Battalion (Camp Pendleton, June 2020), 2nd Network Battalion (Camp Lejeune, June 2021), Network Activity National Capital Region, and Network Activity National Reserve, all activated between June 2020 and February 2022. NA EUR/AF's mission is to ensure a resilient network that enables mission execution in the face of persistent cyber threats and to command, control, and defend the MCEN throughout Europe and Africa — wherever Marine Forces Europe and Africa, the Black Sea Rotational Force, the Marine Security Force units, and Marine Special Operations Forces require secure, reliable enterprise services. The Stuttgart location colocates the unit with U.S. EUCOM and AFRICOM headquarters and Marine Forces Europe and Africa, putting Marine network defenders right where strategy meets effects. This PVC patch is for every Marine and civilian who runs the network forward.
Perfect For: Network Activity Europe/Africa Marines and civilians, MARFORCYBER and MCCOG personnel, Marine Forces Europe and Africa cyber/comm Marines, Stuttgart-based Marines, USMC 0671 / 0651 / 0631 cyber MOSs, MCEN engineers and defenders, and overseas Marine cyber community collectors.
NA EUR/AF — Stuttgart forward, MCEN secure, since October 2020.
