USMC MAG-36 Resolute Dragon Japan Patches — Embroidered Patch
Combined Arms in the Pacific
Resolute Dragon isn't just an exercise — it's a statement of commitment to the U.S.-Japan alliance and a demonstration of Marine aviation's ability to operate alongside one of America's most capable Pacific allies. This patch represents the Marines and aircrews of MAG-36 who participate in this critical bilateral training event.
Marine Aircraft Group 36 operates from MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, providing assault support, utility, and attack helicopter capabilities to III Marine Expeditionary Force. Exercise Resolute Dragon brings together U.S. Marines and Japanese Self-Defense Forces for combined arms training that sharpens interoperability, tests tactics, and reinforces the alliance that has been the cornerstone of Pacific security since 1945. MAG-36's squadrons — including VMM-262 and VMM-265 — fly MV-22B Ospreys and other rotary-wing aircraft across Japan's training areas, practicing the rapid deployment and combined operations that would be essential in any Indo-Pacific contingency.
Perfect For:
MAG-36 aircrew and maintainers, Okinawa-based Marines, III MEF personnel, U.S.-Japan alliance supporters, VMM-262 and VMM-265 squadron members, and anyone invested in Indo-Pacific security and readiness.
Strengthening the alliance — one sortie at a time.
