Officially Licensed USMC HMHT-302 Phoenix 2020 Sticker — Rising from the Ashes, Training the Next Generation
Because every CH-53E Super Stallion pilot got their wings through the Phoenix.
HMHT-302, the Phoenix, is the Marine Corps' Fleet Replacement Squadron for the CH-53E Super Stallion, based at MCAS New River, North Carolina, under MAG-29 and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. Originally designated HMMT-302 in November 1966, the squadron has risen, evolved, and been reactivated multiple times — earning the Phoenix name honestly. Today, HMHT-302 trains every newly designated Naval Aviator, conversion pilot, refresher pilot, and enlisted aircrew member who will fly the Corps' heavy-lift workhorse. If you've ever seen a CH-53E thundering overhead with an external load, the pilot learned to do that here. This 2020-design vinyl sticker captures the Phoenix's modern identity.
Perfect For: HMHT-302 instructor pilots and students, CH-53E Super Stallion community members, 2nd MAW New River Marines, and anyone who knows that training squadrons build the force.
Every Stallion driver starts here. The Phoenix rises every class.
