Officially Licensed USMC 3rd Marine Raider Support Battalion (3rd MRSB) patch.
3rd MRSB — comms, intel, K9, fires, logistics for 3rd Marine Raider Bn.
3rd Marine Raider Support Battalion (3rd MRSB) is a U.S. Marine Corps combat support battalion under the Marine Raider Support Group (MRSG), part of Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The battalion provides general support and combat service support to the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion and to MARSOC's worldwide special operations missions — training, equipping, and organizing specially qualified Marines in logistics, communications, signals and human intelligence, multi-purpose canine teams, Firepower Control Teams, and supporting arms. MARSOC was activated on February 24, 2006 at Camp Lejeune as the Marine component of U.S. Special Operations Command. In April 2009, the Marine Special Operations Advisor Group was re-designated as the Marine Special Operations Regiment, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Marine Special Operations Battalions standing up as subordinate units — and the newly designated 3rd MSOB incorporated structure and personnel from the former 4th MSOB. On June 19, 2015, MARSOC units were re-designated as Marine Raiders, with the 3rd MSOB becoming the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion and the support side becoming 3rd MRSB. Since then 3rd MRSB has been the indispensable enabler — the Marines who jump out of the same aircraft, ride in the same vehicles, sign for the same comms suites, and walk the same patrols as the operators they support. This patch is for every 3rd MRSB Marine.
Perfect For: 3rd Marine Raider Support Battalion active-duty and veteran personnel, 3rd Marine Raider Battalion combat support enablers, MARSOC communicators, intelligence Marines, multi-purpose canine handlers, Firepower Control Team members, Camp Lejeune-stationed Marines, and Marine Special Operations Forces enabler community collectors.
3rd MRSB — Raiders supported, mission completed, Camp Lejeune to the world.
