USMC 3rd Combat Logistics Battalion Patch

3rd Combat Logistics Battalion (CLB-3) / 3rd Littoral Logistics Battalion (3d LLB)

Combat Logistics Battalion 3 was activated on 27 June 2008 at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, Hawaii, formed from the previous Combat Service Support Group 3 (CSSG-3). Just 121 days after activation, CLB-3 was designated the Logistics Combat Element of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade in November 2008, making it the youngest battalion in the Marine Corps to receive such a critical assignment. From November 2008 to May 2009, the battalion conducted combat operations in Southern Afghanistan, providing all six functions of logistics—transportation, engineering, maintenance, supply, health services, and general services—to all Marine and NATO forces in the region.

The battalion's motto, "'O Ka Hana, 'A'ole Ka 'Olelo" ("Actions, Not Words"), reflects its commitment to mission accomplishment. In December 2021, CLB-3 responded to the Red Hill Water Crisis at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, establishing seven water distribution points and distributing more than one million gallons of water over three months as part of Task Force Kuleana. As part of Force Design 2030, CLB-3 realigned under the 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment in June 2023 and was redesignated as the 3rd Littoral Logistics Battalion (3d LLB) on 12 September 2023, creating a first-of-its-kind battalion in the Marine Corps.

Headquartered at MCB Hawaii, 3d LLB now falls under the 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment and the 3rd Marine Division, providing tactical logistics and EOD support to sustain regimental operations across the competition continuum in the Indo-Pacific.

Perfect For: CLB-3 and 3d LLB veterans, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment personnel, Marine logistics specialists, 3rd Marine Division Marines, MCB Hawaii personnel, and Marine Corps Force Design 2030 enthusiasts.

Honoring a battalion that embodies the Marine Corps' transformation into a force designed for distributed operations in contested maritime environments.

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.

If the product is officially licensed, it will say “Officially Licensed” in the title and/or in the product details. If it doesn’t, it’s still a legitimate product—just not part of a licensed program.
