This glow-in-the-dark PVC patch commemorates Nordic Response 2024, a major NATO exercise conducted in the Arctic regions of Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Nordic Response tested the ability of U.S. Marines and allied forces to operate in extreme cold weather environments, conducting amphibious operations, cold weather maneuver warfare, and joint interoperability training in some of the most challenging conditions on Earth. For Marines more accustomed to desert and tropical deployments, Arctic operations demand specialized skills in survival, mobility, and equipment maintenance at temperatures far below zero. This exercise demonstrated NATO's commitment to Arctic readiness.
