Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 (HMH-466), the Wolfpack, operates the CH-53E Super Stallion and deployed on Unit Deployment Program (UDP) rotation 24.1 to the Western Pacific. UDP rotations send Marine squadrons on extended deployments to Okinawa and other Pacific locations, maintaining the forward-deployed heavy-lift helicopter capability that III Marine Expeditionary Force depends on. The Wolfpack's CH-53E Super Stallion is the Marine Corps' premier heavy-lift platform, capable of hauling vehicles, artillery pieces, and supplies that no other Western helicopter can handle. This PVC patch commemorates HMH-466's specific UDP 24.1 deployment.
