Official HMLA-267 Plague Rider PVC Patch — Death Rides a Huey
The Plague Rider doesn't knock. It just shows up in a UH-1Y with glowing red eyes.
HMLA-267 "Stingers" is a Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron flying the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom out of MCAS Camp Pendleton, California, under MAG-39 and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The Stingers trace their lineage back to VMO-5 in World War II — they were spotting artillery fire at Iwo Jima in 1945 — and have since evolved through Vietnam, Desert Storm, OIF, and OEF into one of the Corps' premier rotary-wing attack squadrons. In 2012, HMLA-267 became the first HMLA to fully transition to both the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom. This Plague Rider PVC patch is based on UH-1Y cowl art and features glow-in-the-dark red eyes — a dark, menacing piece of squadron morale gear that perfectly captures the Stingers' combat attitude.
Perfect For: HMLA-267 Stingers Marines and veterans, AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom pilots and crew, MCAS Camp Pendleton squadrons, MAG-39 and 3rd MAW personnel, cowl art collectors, and anyone who rides with the Plague.
