USMC 2nd Force Recon Patch — Embroidered Patch

Behind Enemy Lines — II MEF's Elite Reconnaissance

Second Force Reconnaissance Company represents the deep reconnaissance and direct action capability of II Marine Expeditionary Force. This patch is earned by Marines who have proven themselves among the most physically and mentally demanding selection and training pipelines in the Corps.

2nd Force Recon was activated at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, as the east coast counterpart to 1st Force Recon. The company conducts deep reconnaissance, surveillance, and direct action operations in support of II MEF and its subordinate elements. Force Recon Marines are trained in military freefall parachuting, combat diving, long-range communications, and small-unit tactics that allow them to operate deep behind enemy lines for extended periods. In Vietnam, Force Recon teams from both companies conducted some of the most dangerous reconnaissance patrols of the war. 2nd Force Recon has deployed to Desert Storm, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, maintaining its reputation as one of the elite reconnaissance units in the Department of Defense.

Perfect For:
Force Recon Marines who served with 2nd Force, II MEF reconnaissance personnel, Camp Lejeune Marines, special operations and reconnaissance enthusiasts, and anyone who respects the warriors who operate where conventional forces cannot.

Deep behind the lines — 2nd Force Recon.

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.

If the product is officially licensed, it will say “Officially Licensed” in the title and/or in the product details. If it doesn’t, it’s still a legitimate product—just not part of a licensed program.

Yes. If you see a note like “bulk reruns available,” that means we can support group orders or reruns. If you don’t see it, contact us with the unit/squadron and quantity and we’ll confirm options.
