Officially Licensed 2nd Battalion 2nd Marine Regiment Warlords 2023 Patch — From Tarawa to the Tip of the Spear

The Warlords don't wait for the fight — they bring it.

2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines (2/2) "The Warlords" is a light infantry battalion based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, under the 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division. Their combat lineage stretches back to World War II, where 2/2 was one of three battalions spearheading the bloody assault on Tarawa — losing their battalion commander before he even reached the beach — and earning the Presidential Unit Citation for their ferocity under fire. The Warlords fought through Saipan, Tinian, and Okinawa, then answered the call again in Lebanon in 1958 and the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. In the Global War on Terror, 2/2 deployed to Iraq in 2004 attached to RCT-1 and fought through more than 600 engagements in Fallujah, and returned again in 2005 for operations between Fallujah and Abu Ghraib. They've deployed with the 22nd MEU in support of NATO operations, conducted combat ops in Afghanistan's Helmand Province, and rotated through the Black Sea and Africa. This 2023 patch represents a battalion that's been kicking in doors since before most Marines were born.

Perfect For: 2/2 Warlords past and present, 2nd Marine Division and 2nd Marine Regiment Marines, Camp Lejeune infantry veterans, and anyone who knows the ground combat element is where legends are made.

Warlords — closing with and destroying the enemy since 1941.
