Based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, the battalion encompasses the division's communications, intelligence, operations, logistics coordination, and administrative functions. From the division command post to the tactical operations center, these Marines ensure that orders flow, intelligence reaches the right hands, and the division's combat power is synchronized across multiple regiments and supporting arms. The battalion has supported the 2nd MARDIV through every major deployment and operation since World War II.
