Officially Licensed USMC UH-34D HUS Coin

A lasting tribute to the helicopter that pioneered Marine vertical assault.

This commemorative coin honors the Sikorsky UH-34D — originally designated the HUS (Helicopter, Utility, Sikorsky) — which served as the Marine Corps' primary assault and utility helicopter from the late 1950s through the mid-1960s. The UH-34D carried Marines into their first major helicopter-borne combat operations in Vietnam, establishing the vertical envelopment doctrine that remains central to Marine Corps operations today. The reverse of this coin features the designations and names of every USMC squadron that flew the 34 — a roll call of the units that wrote the first chapter of Marine helicopter warfare. This officially licensed coin preserves that legacy in a form worthy of display.

Perfect For:
UH-34D veterans and their families, Marine helicopter squadron historians, Popasmoke community members, Vietnam-era rotary-wing aviators, and military coin collectors.

Every squadron that flew the 34 — honored on one coin.
