Marine Aviation Training Support Group 21 (MATSG-21) is based at NAS Pensacola, Florida, the historic cradle of naval aviation. MATSG-21 provides administrative and training support for Marine Corps student naval aviators and student naval flight officers as they progress through the initial phases of flight training. Pensacola is where aspiring Marine pilots begin their transformation from ground officers to aviators, learning the fundamentals of naval aviation before moving on to advanced training in their selected platforms.
