This PVC patch represents the Fuels Division Bravo section (MOS 1391) of Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron at MCAS New River, North Carolina. Fuelies — as aviation fuel specialists are affectionately known — are responsible for the receipt, storage, quality testing, and distribution of aviation fuel to every squadron on the air station. At a base as busy as New River, which hosts CH-53E Super Stallions, MV-22B Ospreys, and multiple helicopter types, the fuels division operates around the clock ensuring that jet fuel meets exacting quality standards and is delivered on time. Without the Fuelies, the entire flight schedule stops.
