Official MALS-29 Wolverines of Wall St Patch — The Bull Market of Marine Aviation Logistics
The Wolverines don't just support the mission — they own shares in it.
MALS-29 "Wolverines" was a Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron based at MCAS New River, North Carolina, under MAG-29 and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. The Wolverines provided intermediate-level aviation maintenance, supply, and ordnance support for all of MAG-29's rotary-wing and tiltrotor squadrons — managing an inventory of over 35,000 line items valued at more than $110 million and supporting 13 different aircraft types. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, MALS-29 supported more than 6,000 flight hours and over 3,700 combat sorties as part of Task Force Tarawa, helping MAG-29 maintain an 81% mission capable rate while reaching over 400 miles inland. The Wolverines also supported operations in Desert Storm, Bosnia, Kosovo, Liberia, Albania, and Haiti. After 51 years of service, MALS-29 was deactivated on December 8, 2023, as part of Force Design 2030. This "Wolverines of Wall St" patch is peak morale — because keeping Marine aviation flying is the ultimate bull market.
Perfect For: MALS-29 Wolverines Marines and veterans, MAG-29 personnel, MCAS New River squadrons, Marine aviation maintainers and logisticians, and anyone who knows that without MALS, nothing flies.
