Associated with HMHT-302's training operations, these "Stitch Bitches" — as flight equipment technicians have proudly called themselves for generations — sew, repair, and configure helmets, oxygen masks, survival vests, ejection seat harnesses, and anti-exposure suits. It's meticulous, life-critical work performed by Marines who rarely get the recognition they deserve. When a pilot ejects and the equipment works perfectly, a flight equipment tech built that margin of survival.
