This officially licensed patch represents the citizen Marines who keep their DASC expertise ready.
Marine Air Support Squadron 6 serves within the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, providing reserve Direct Air Support Center capability. When activated, MASS-6 Marines integrate with active component air support squadrons to process immediate air requests, coordinate close air support, and manage the allocation of aviation assets in support of ground maneuver. The squadron's reserve Marines bring valuable experience and training to the Total Force, maintaining proficiency in the complex art of air support coordination.
