The Iron Horse have been one of the Marine Corps' go-to heavy-lift squadrons for decades, deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, and humanitarian relief operations worldwide. This 250th anniversary patch commemorates the United States Marine Corps' 250th birthday in 2025 — a milestone that connects every Marine unit, past and present, to the founding of the Corps on November 10, 1775. HMH-461 marks the occasion with this special commemorative design.
