Officially Licensed US Navy VT-35 Stingrays squadron challenge coin featuring the T-54A Marlin II.

VT-35 Stingrays — advanced multi-engine training in the new T-54A Marlin II, on a coin.

Training Squadron 35 (VT-35), the "Stingrays," is the U.S. Navy's advanced multi-engine maritime training squadron based at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas, under Training Air Wing FOUR (TW-4). VT-35 trains the Student Naval Aviators destined for the maritime patrol (P-8A Poseidon), C-130 / KC-130, E-6B Mercury, and E-2/C-2/EC-2/E-2D Advanced Hawkeye communities — the multi-engine pipeline graduates who go on to fly the Navy's largest manned aircraft. The squadron transitioned to the new Beechcraft T-54A Marlin II — a militarized variant of the King Air 260 — as its primary advanced multi-engine training platform, replacing the long-serving T-44C Pegasus. The T-54A brings glass-cockpit avionics, modern instrument procedures training, and FAA Part 23 commercial reliability to the multi-engine syllabus. This challenge coin features the T-54A Marlin II on the obverse and the VT-35 Stingrays squadron heraldry on the reverse — a heavy, struck-metal coin with the heft, edge, and finish that define a real fleet-quality challenge coin, perfect for handing off after a milestone solo, a winging ceremony, or a final flight. Made for a coin check, made for a shadow box.

Perfect For: VT-35 Stingrays Student Naval Aviators and instructor pilots, T-54A Marlin II pilots and maintainers, T-44C Pegasus heritage trainers, TW-4 NAS Corpus Christi personnel, multi-engine pipeline winging ceremony attendees, P-8 / C-130 / E-6 / E-2 community future operators, and Naval Air Training Command challenge coin collectors.

VT-35 Stingrays coin — T-54A Marlin II, multi-engine, ready for the coin check.
