The Reserve Tomcat squadron from Miramar — the Stallions carried the F-14 with pride until the end.

VF-302 "Stallions" was a U.S. Navy Reserve fighter squadron based at NAS Miramar, San Diego, flying the F-14A Tomcat. As one of the Navy's Reserve Tomcat squadrons, the Stallions maintained combat readiness and augmented the active fleet's fighter capability throughout the Cold War and beyond. When the Navy retired the F-14, VF-302's legacy went with it. This premium leather patch preserves the Stallions' insignia in a classic format that does the Tomcat era justice.
