The Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Weapons School (MPRWS) is the Navy's graduate-level tactical training program for maritime patrol and reconnaissance forces. This embroidered patch represents the institution that produces the maritime patrol community's top tacticians. MPRWS instructors teach advanced anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence collection, and weapons employment tactics to experienced P-8 Poseidon and EP-3 crews. Graduates return to their squadrons as weapons and tactics instructors (WTIs), raising the tactical proficiency of the entire maritime patrol force.
