Officially Licensed HSL-47 Saberhawks Sticker — Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 47 Saberhawks SH-60B Seahawk Vinyl Sticker
The Saberhawks in sticker form — HSL-47's iconic squadron design as a premium vinyl sticker, celebrating one of the Navy's premier helicopter anti-submarine squadrons.
Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 47 (HSL-47), the "Saberhawks," was a U.S. Navy helicopter squadron based at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan, that operated the SH-60B Seahawk. HSL-47 was one of the Navy's forward-deployed helicopter squadrons in the Western Pacific, providing anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and surveillance capabilities to Carrier Strike Group 5 and surface combatants operating in the Indo-Pacific theater. The squadron was later redesignated as HSM-77.
The SH-60B Seahawk operated from the decks of cruisers, destroyers, and frigates, extending the surface combatant's sensor and weapons reach through the helicopter's dipping sonar, sonobuoys, radar, and torpedo capability. HSL-47's detachments deployed aboard multiple ships simultaneously, providing each vessel with organic ASW and ASUW capability.
This vinyl sticker reproduces the Saberhawks' squadron design in a weather-resistant format for displaying on personal gear and equipment.
Perfect For: HSL-47 Saberhawks veterans, HSM-77 community, SH-60B Seahawk community, NAF Atsugi personnel, and Navy helicopter squadron sticker collectors.
HSL-47 Saberhawks — stick the saber everywhere — the Saberhawks' legacy lives on in vinyl.
