This embroidered patch commemorates the 80th anniversary of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 (HMLA-367), Scarface. For eighty years, Scarface has been one of the Marine Corps' premier light attack helicopter squadrons, flying skid helicopters from the earliest Hueys to today's AH-1Z Vipers and UH-1Y Venoms. The 80th anniversary milestone places Scarface among the longest-serving squadrons in Marine aviation, and their combat record spans multiple conflicts and deployments. The Scarface identity has been synonymous with Marine skid attack aviation for eight decades.
