Marine Tiltrotor Training Squadron 6 (VMT-6), the "Shooters," is the Marine Corps' fleet replacement squadron for the MV-22B Osprey, based at NAS Whiting Field, Florida. VMT-6 trains every Marine pilot and crew chief who will fly the Osprey before they report to fleet tiltrotor squadrons. As the sole MV-22 training squadron, VMT-6 is the gateway through which every Marine Osprey pilot must pass.
