Official VFC-13 Saint Adversary F-16 Shoulder Patch - Fighter Squadron Composite 13 (VFC-13) Fighting Saints U.S. Navy Reserve Adversary Squadron F-16C Fighting Falcon Embroidered Shoulder Patch, NAS Fallon, Nevada.
Fighting Saints identity, Bogey radio callsign, and the sharp edge of dissimilar air combat training stitched into one official adversary squadron shoulder patch.
VFC-13 was established on 1 September 1973 at NAS New Orleans and has grown into the Navy Reserve's premier adversary squadron, permanently based at Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada. The Fighting Saints provide dissimilar air combat training for Navy and Marine Corps active and reserve fleet squadrons, carrier air wings, Marine aircraft groups, U.S. Air Force units including Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard components, and Canadian Forces. In December 2022, the squadron completed its transition from the long-serving F-5N Tiger II to the F-16C Block 32 Fighting Falcon, aircraft retired from U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard service and brought into the adversary role to give fleet pilots a more capable and realistic threat aircraft. The Saints paint their F-16s in a variety of colorful schemes designed to replicate potential adversary aircraft during DACT sessions, making the squadron's ramp at Fallon one of the most visually distinctive in naval aviation. This shoulder patch captures that F-16 era identity, connecting the Fighting Saints callsign and adversary mission to the Viper that now defines the squadron's look and capability on the high desert range.
Perfect For: U.S. Navy adversary aviation veterans, VFC-13 Fighting Saints alumni, NAS Fallon squadron collectors, naval aviation historians, F-16 Fighting Falcon enthusiasts, carrier air wing and Marine aircraft group aircrew who trained against the Saints, shadow box and display board builders, reunion keepsakes, challenge coin and patch panel collections, and anyone documenting the evolution of Navy Reserve adversary training from the Tiger II era into the modern F-16 chapter at Fallon.
Fighting Saints heritage, Bogey on the radio, and the F-16 adversary mission carried forward on your sleeve.
